IGFF Marketplace: Fastroad, an inclusive transport project

Manuel Bonnet is the Managing Director for Fastroad. Last week, he presented his project to the investors of the Inclusive Growth Financing Forum Marketplace. We asked him a few questions on Fastroad, and how the Marketplace could help the project.

  1. You are the representative of Fastroad. What is Fastroad about?

We are transport specialists from the Social Economy: our offers include transport for people with reduced mobility, and we have created jobs for people with disabilities. Since 2016, we have initiated our ecological transition.

We wish to continue our development and increase our positive social impact, by becoming a 100% inclusive employer for all people for whom securing a job is difficult. We can achieve this thanks to our insertion branch and our last mile delivery offer.

We want the logic of public spending to become a logic of social investment. This business model can be duplicated nationally and internationally while keeping a social ROI logic, as well as sustainable development and management.

  1. You presented your project to a handful of investors at the IGFF marketplace. How was this a plus for you?

The finance sector is often removed from actors of the social economy and from projects with social impact as the key indicators used in these projects are not primarily financial indicators. For the finance sector discover our activities, we must be able to share our expertise and visions which are based on different performance logics, which the IGFF marketplace allowed us to do.

It was also an excellent exercise for us to be concrete about our development prospects and to show the impact we have with a 360° perspective.

  1. Will you discuss potential collaborations with investors/foundations you have met through IGFF?

Indeed, we were contacted live during the B4IG Financing Forum by some renowned actors, and discussions will continue. This is motivating for the future and gives credibility to our approach.
